The plate is finished in a matt porcelain enamel for protection from rust and made to ASTM A834 standards.
Plate can be used out-of-the-box with the Weber Q1000 & Q1200 model Baby Q’s. Fits perfectly beside one of the two cooking grates your Baby Q comes with.
This hotplate / griddle can also be used on older (before 2014) model Weber Baby Q’s such as the Q100 & Q120 models. If your older model Baby Q originally came with a single cooking grate, you will need to add a set of half seat mountings (sold separately).
This item IS NOT compatible with the newer Gen III Baby Q models.
